Our aim is to provide every child who passes through our school the opportunity to explore ICT and learn to use it confidently. All children will have access to a range of hardware and software that will be updated as appropriate. They will be able to use their computing skills across the curriculum, linking into different subject areas.
They will know how to use technology purposefully in different situations and recognise the common uses of technology at home, in school and in the environment.
We place great importance on being safe on the internet and will regularly update adults and children’s knowledge as well as passing on important information to parents.

Children will recognise that the internet and digital technologies are an opportunity to learn, communicate and play but will understand what to do if they feel unsafe when using technology.
