At Brookland Infant and Nursery School we recognise that Science is an exciting subject area which directly, and indirectly, influences all aspects of everyday life. Young children are naturally curious and passionate about learning and in Science we aim to stimulate a child’s curiosity in finding out why things happen in the way they do. We give opportunities for enquiry and investigation to stimulate creative thoughts and questions. We believe the skills developed will promote a positive, inquisitive and safety conscious attitude towards scientific processes and knowledge.
