We aim to foster creative creativity and will give the children opportunities to use a range of materials creatively to design and make products. Discussion will be used to help plan ideas and make ‘mock ups’ in the designing process, including evaluating and improving products according to likes and dislikes. Our children will be taught how to choose and use the correct tool for their art or design project and understand how different materials are chosen for different jobs because of their properties. They will develop a wide range of techniques in using colour, pattern, texture, shape, form and space.
