I have been the headteacher at Brookland Junior School for 5 years and am now the Executive Headteacher of the Brookland Federation. I am very fortunate to lead both Brookland Infant and Nursery School and Brookland Junior School.
I am immensely proud to lead a dedicated team, but most of all, I am proud of all the amazing children we have at Brookland.
As my team will tell you, my vision is very clear and that is to put the children at the centre of everything we do. Spending as much time as I can with the children is the best part of my day! Just saying good morning or checking in are some of my favourite things to do.
Along with the team, we have worked very hard to continue to make improvements to the school. Our last Ofsted was extremely pleasing and verified what a fantastic school Brookland is and this is something we continue to improve.
Having two children of my own, I know how important it is to ensure children have a nurturing, happy and safe place when they are at school. This is something we strive to provide for our children at Brookland.
I have very high expectations of everyone who is a part of our Brookland community and I believe in working in close partnership with our parents to get the best outcomes for our children.
